How do I contact another member or the Under One Roof team?

There are two ways in which you can make direct contact with another member apart from posting a reply to their advert.

To contact somebody via email.

  • 1. Underneath the members name on the left of each post they've made, click email.
  • 2. Now your email client (Outlook Express, Thunderbird etc.) should open and you can send an email as normal

You can only email a member if they've agreed, in their profile, to allow their email address to be visible.

To contact somebody via the private message system.

  • Click the Personal Message button of the person you are sending a message to (It's under their name in any post they make).
  • You'll be taken to the New Message page, the recipient's name will already be filled in.
  • Type in your title in the Subject box
  • Type your message on the large message area
  • Click the Send Message button

  • Or

  • Click on the member name of the person you wish to send a message
  • Click the Send this member a personal message link near the bottom of the page
  • Write your message and replace (no subject) in the Subject box with a title
  • Click the Send Message button

Your message will be sent instantly as long as the recipient has enough room left in their inbox.
